Patio

by Zanellato/Bortotto

Patio
the Ethimo collection designed by Zanellato/Bortotto, expresses outdoor living through the art of weaving, combined with the authentic beauty of natural teak.

Inspired by the intimate, secluded charm of traditional Andalusian patios, it elegantly and authentically reinterprets the concept of en plein air comfort, creating welcoming and refined outdoor settings.

The true protagonist of the collection is the weave, a distinctive feature that becomes both structure and decoration. Handcrafted onto teak frames reminiscent of ancient looms, it defines enveloping, lightweight seating available in two colourways: the intense Laguna Blue combined with Light Grey, or a monochromatic Light Grey version, with a pure, minimal character.

The harmonious and balanced forms seamlessly extend from the lounge to the dining area, through a comprehensive range that includes lounge chair, sofa, daybed, hammock, dining tables, and coffee tables in various sizes. The tables stand out for their base, inspired by nautical bollards and crafted in outdoor rope, paired with different tops: teak slats or refined materials such as marble, travertine, or glazed lava stone.

Among the seats, the club armchair fits easily into more intimate arrangements, offering a compact yet comfortable dimension, perfectly aligned with the cocooning language that defines the entire collection.

Patio is a story woven from craftsmanship and design, a sophisticated vision of outdoor living that blends savoir-faire, premium materials, and aesthetic research, for atmospheres where nature and design coexist in perfect harmony.

Zanellato/Bortotto

In 2013, after having completed their degrees at the IUAV University in Venice and the Ecal de Lausanne, Giorgia Zanellato and Daniele Bortotto founded the Zanellato/Bortotto studio, based in Treviso. In the same year, they presented their first project at the Salone Satellite in Milan. The collection, going by the name of “Acqua Alta", pays homage to Venice. This moment marked the beginning of their longstanding, constant research into the relationship between places and the passing of time, a connection analysed through the reinterpretation of traditional artisanal techniques.
