Ethimo and Studio Zanellato/Bortotto have expanded the collection with unique dining and lounge ideas.
Patio, the line that is all about the harmonious encounter of nature and design, in a dialogue of weaving, fine materials and enveloping shapes, sees the addition of new elements to ensure an even more personal, immersive outdoor living experience, making it possible to create complete, comfortable open-air rooms.
For dining and coffee tables, both round and oval, Ethimo has come up with a new combination: the elegant sculpted base in teak, wrapped in nautical rope in the colours lagoon blue or light grey, usually teamed with big-appeal solid surfaces such as marble, travertine or enamelled lava stone, is now joined by the warmth of natural teak. Positioned with geometric precision, the slats form a top with sophisticated visual impact. Meanwhile, the lounge range sees the addition of the club armchair, a solution that, despite its small size, has the same cocooning feel as the rest of the collection, ideal for those wanting an intimate, versatile inter-pretation of the large armchair. The weave that makes up the seat, in addition to the variant in lagoon blue and light grey rope, is now also available in a monochromatic version, in light grey rope. This new option is available for all the lounge and dining chairs.
Zanellato/Bortotto
In 2013, after having completed their degrees at the IUAV University in Venice and the Ecal de Lausanne, Giorgia Zanellato and Daniele Bortotto founded the Zanellato/Bortotto studio, based in Treviso. In the same year, they presented their first project at the Salone Satellite in Milan. The collection, going by the name of “Acqua Alta", pays homage to Venice. This moment marked the beginning of their longstanding, constant research into the relationship between places and the passing of time, a connection analysed through the reinterpretation of traditional artisanal techniques.
