An exhibition space that recalls the natural world, the forms of vegetation, the typical colours of the Mediterranean. A fascinating story that writes the new trends in contemporary outdoor design for the year 2020.
Ethimo has chosen Paris to present the new Knit lounge, which adds to the iconic line born from the well-established collaboration with Patrick Norguet.
A comfortable sofa and an enveloping armchair that are the 'new episode' of a lounge and dining collection, ever more complete and constantly evolving, thanks to the desire to experiment with new volumes, finishes and fabrics, keeping the unmistakable features that distinguish it unaltered.
The two new outdoor creations respect the characteristic matrix of the Knit collection: the union between the teak of the structure, natural or pickled, with the woven rope, which in the new lounge set features in the backrest, ensuring comfortable ergonomics.
The new Chess and Red Diamonds fabrics, which cover the upholstery, maximise the softness of the volumes, suggesting an immediate feeling of well-being.
Highlights of the Parisian design week were the Kilt armchair, designed by Marcello Ziliani, and its eco-friendly essence; the refined Grand Life collection, the brainchild of Christophe Pillet’s design; the soft and sinuous lines of the Agave armchairs and the Urban mood of Allaperto – the collection created with Matteo Thun and Antonio Rodriguez.
M&O 2020 was also an opportunity to focus on Eivissa, the new Ethimo pavilion designed along with Ludovica and Roberto Palomba.
Eivissa, in its many configurations, is a real housing module designed to create reserved environments, protected from the sun and wind, while remaining in contact with nature. A contemporary and functional piece of architecture that harmoniously fits into the landscape.
